This policy explains what information RELister collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. RELister is a Chrome extension that helps real estate professionals copy their own property listings from Zillow into a Facebook Marketplace post, saving manual data entry.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
Account & contact details — your name, email address, and (if provided) phone number, collected when you subscribe or activate a license.
License key — issued to you and stored locally in the extension to keep your subscription active.
Information collected automatically when you use the extension
Device identifier — a random identifier generated for your browser installation, used to verify your license and limit how many devices one subscription runs on. It is not tied to your hardware; clearing the extension’s data generates a new one.
IP address and browser user agent — recorded when you post a listing, and used for security, fraud prevention, and billing-dispute (chargeback) evidence.
Usage activity — records of posting actions, including the property address and listing price of listings you post and the time they occurred, used to operate the service and support your account.
Listing content you choose to post
Property listing data — when you click to post, RELister reads the public details of the Zillow listing you are viewing (such as address, price, description, and photos) and transfers them into a Facebook Marketplace post on your behalf. This is the core function you are asking RELister to perform.
What we do not collect: we do not collect health information, your payment card numbers (payments are handled by our processor, Stripe), passwords or credentials for other services, your general web-browsing history, or keystroke content.
2. How we use your information
To provide the core service — transferring your Zillow listings into Facebook Marketplace posts.
To validate your license and manage device limits.
To protect against fraud, abuse, and billing disputes.
To process billing and send you service, support, and product messages.
To improve and troubleshoot the product.
We use your data only for the purposes above — the extension’s core functionality and closely related support, security, and billing. We do not use it for unrelated purposes.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as described here. We share data only with service providers who help us run RELister, and only as needed to provide the service:

When you post a listing, the listing content is sent to Facebook/Meta as part of creating your Marketplace post — this happens through your own Facebook session, at your direction. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
4. Data retention
We keep account, license, and usage records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business purposes such as billing, support, security, and dispute resolution, after which we delete or anonymize them.
5. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below.
You can uninstall the extension at any time; the license and device identifier stored locally are removed with it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights where they apply.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
7. Children’s privacy
RELister is a business tool intended for real estate professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Google API & limited use disclosure
RELister’s use of information received through Google services, including the Chrome Web Store, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We only collect and use the data described in this policy, for the purposes described here.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected here.
